The very famous celebrity stylist and Fashion editor James R. Sanders, who has styled many famous Hollywood celebrities for Grammy Awards and Red Carpet for Oscar was at INIFD Ludhiana, India. From all the ways from the world fashion capital New York, he searched for fabric at Manchester of India- Ludhiana for New York Fashion Week (NYFW). During his visit to INIFD Ludhiana, he officially announced that its India’s prestigious institute INIFD’s pride to create history by showcasing their designs at New York Fashion Week 2018. 60 different outfit designs which include 50 women and 10 Men wear will be presenting by INIFD at Iconic Venue Pier 59 at Manhattan New York City. INIFD is the only institute which got the chance to represent our Nation at two prestigious fashion shows- London Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week.
James R. Sanders is super excited about the “Vibrant India” theme, as the theme is to represent rich Indian culture, designs, colours and heritage through their traditional and Indo-Western designs on the ramps of New York Fashion Week 2018. James R Sanders said that young Indian designers are very talented and creative and they know the true meaning of fashion.
Centre Director of INIFD Ludhiana Arvind Gupta said that it was a matter of pride to have famous Hollywood celebrity stylist James with us. James was interested to explore the Manchester of India and do a little bit of fabric sourcing during his formal visit to INIFD Ludhiana. James explored the “Sarafan Bazar” Ludhiana and bought some vibrant colour fabric for designing new clothes. He was amazed by the variety of fabric, rich culture and textile industry of this beautiful city.
Ritu Kochhar-Founder Director of INIFD also shared her views on our immense fashion sense and diversity. Ritu Kochhar further added that designs from each and every state are incorporated for the New York Fashion Week 2018. She is confident about her designers and has told the media that our craftsmen are ready to take the fashion to another level which will definitely leave the audience speechless. INIFD designers made India proud with “India Day” for consecutive three seasons during London Fashion Week at Fashion Scout. She is way confident to set new benchmarks at New York Fashion Week 2018.
INIFD is following our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5 ”F” formula which is Farm to Fiber, Fiber to Fabric, Fabric to Fashion, Fashion to Foreign to represent our rich designs at NYFW 2018. A design of Ayushi Mehta, a student from IIIFD (International Institute of Interiors and Fashion Design) Udaipur is already selected for the New York Fashion Week 2018. Her design was selected by James R Sanders and New York Fashion Week under International Showcase category to showcase the upcoming season closet. International Institute of Interiors and Fashion Design Udaipur received a confirmation email from the NYFW officials regarding confirmed design.
