Fashion Pakistan Week Winter Festive Edition – Everything You Need to Know

Posted on October 25 2017

The Fashion Pakistan Week has just rolled out with its Winter Festive Edition and it’s all happening in Karachi from 11th September to 14th September. We do feel that it’s is possibly the best time to unveil the collection as both winters and festive season is coming knocking on our door.

Designer Shehla

In our tradition, “Winter Festive” is a fancy word that all we can relate to is “Wedding Wear”. The entire country can go crazy over the wedding season and the designers are putting everything of theirs into adding glamour to this season by putting their blingiest feet forward onto catwalks.

Wedding wear takes much longer time for crafting as it is mostly hand-embroidered and our designers subsequently take orders and get the outfits ready by the time December-January wedding season begins.

Other bridal weeks that may be teetering towards the tail-end of the year, please take note.

The Fashion Pakistan Week is bound to be shrouded in an overdose and excess glamour of shimmery and blinging outfits. The show has always been dedicated to showcasing fashion and that’s what this event will put forward on stage.

FPW could be their chance.

Day 1

Saira Rizwan is expected to offer a show that is worth a pause and have a focused look. She is going to showcase her Glitterati collection at FPW Winter Festive 2017. Misha Lakhani will come up with her classy ethos, which will be a sight of elegance in itself. The rest of the designers are also set to bring oomph to the catwalk.

Day 2

The Day 2 is packed with some trendsetters and the environment will be magical as Sanam Chaudhri will open the show followed by the elegant designers like Wardha Saleem, Emraan Rajput, Sadaf Malaterre, Hem, and Deepak Perwani. All the designers have well defined Aesthetics and tend to steal the show.

Day 3

Day 3 will be a mesmerizing eve in itself with the designers like Tena Durrani, Nauman Afreen, Saira Shakira, Adnan Pardesy, and Maheen Khan. They have been amazing trend setters in Pakistani fashion with some of the all-time favorite designs.

Grand Finale

The show will be closed by a whopping 60-piece solo show by Sana Safinaz, which will be staged in different locations and a different guest list. Her collection is named “Roses and Rue” and it will be completely dedicated to the modern day bride. Apparently, her collection is going to veer towards edgy western designs, with 50 designs for women and 10 for men.

We all have got some high hopes for this huge fashion event and it would be interesting to see what comes out of it.
