Fashion is a wonderful thing. You can use your body as a canvas and create endless looks with just a few pieces. You don't need to be an artist to be a fashionista. You can create great, iconic looks by just wanting to look flawless. And that is how a lot of the latest fashion trends are created. These aren't trends that were born on the runway. These trends were created by people like you and me, who were experimenting with the things they had in their closets.
What this goes to show is that you don't necessarily have to spend the big bucks to follow latest fashion trends. You can create these looks on your own with the things that you most definitely already have in your closet. These are called DIY trends for women.
Let us tell you just how you can create them at home.
The Frayed Denims
The frayed look is in trend right now. Everything denim - from boyfriend jeans to super skinny jeans - look cool when frayed. You don't need too many things to fray your jeans either. All you need is a razor or any kind of blade and a pair of scissors. Here's how to fray your jeans, cut the helm of your jeans with the scissors. With your razor blade, slowly push out the horizontal threads around the cut. And voila, your frayed jeans are ready to be worn!
Patches
Patches are a super fun way to pep up any plain outfit. Be it a dress, jeans, fashion tops or any other clothing for women, everything can look good with some cool patchwork. No, we're not talking about stitching on old cloths to make arm patches; we're talking about those cool patches that we've been seeing all over the runway. All you need to create these is an outfit of your choice, your patches and a hot iron.
Crop tops
This one is a no brainer and you've probably already done this DIY before. But crop tops are really big right now and we've been seeing them everywhere, from the runways to the streets. Even though there are amazing crop tops available out there, you can create your own at home. All you will need is your favorite t-shirt, a pair of scissors and some fabric glue. You simply cut the bottom of your t-shirt and glue the frayed edges with fabric glue.
Aren’t these DIY tricks super-interesting and super-easy at the same time. So, next time you are looking for the ways to look like a fashion Diva, you don’t have to go out to shop a fortune. All you have to do is take some things from your wardrobe and create excellent fashion outfits at home.
