All's Well That Ends Well – Day 5 Highlights of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020

The big and final day at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020 kicked off in style with 6Degree exhibiting collections of four exceedingly talented designers. The final day bought forward glamorous, sensational, and captivating couture. Further, from Kareena Kapoor slaying as the finale showstopper for Amit Aggarwal to Kunal Rawal's iconic sunset exhibition, here is all the hits from Day 5 of Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2020.

The collection by Krsna Couture, 'In pursuit of Magic' was stunning. The hues primarily consisted of salmon pink, black, ivory, silver, and sage green. Several dresses had their fair share of glitter and shine and were chockfull with hefty zari work and outstanding cross-stitch. The hint was to have fashioned with a European feel, with extra Indian touches. Orange, chiffon and organza were mainly fabrics used.  

The multi-talented, Divya Kumar Khosla, actress, producer and director, took the stage and she looked dazzling in an outstanding silver lehenga, paired with a quirky blouse.

Next up was the label, 'Pearl & Hariom' that used natural fabrics for their collection as a step towards ecological fashion. Keeping flexibility in mind, the collection was super fashionable and chic, yet comfort-driven. Shirts, trousers, blazers and jackets comprised the collection wherein TV actor, Dheeraj Kapoor and SOTY actor Sahil Anand, walked the ramp for the designer.

The duo walked the ramp where Sahil exhibited a long white kurta with grey honeybee motifs, combined with black pants and a jacket that had pinned on it several honeybee-shaped brooches. Dheeraj, on the other hand, looked debonair on the stage as he flaunted a white T-Shirt, combined with shiny grey and white semi-formal blazer & back trousers. 

Then it was the gorgeous actress Rhea Chakraborty walked the ramp for the designer Deepa Goel's collection under her label, 'Siddh Couture', that was an ode to Goddess of Knowledge, Saraswati.  Her collection comprised of lehengas, Shararas, and ghararas. The actress wore a beautiful pink and white lehenga with several shades of pink and fuchsia. The attire had the perfect blend of glamour and allure.

Then it was a men-centric throng of outfits by the label Amaare. Stemming motivation from a tribe in Central Africa, designer Sahib Bhatia presented the collection, named, 'Disguise'. In this collection, he used asymmetrical cuts, modern silhouettes, and pastel hues like pinks, powder blue, and peach, keeping the summer season in mind. Actor Jim Sarabh walked the ramp for the designer.

The handsome hunk actor, Kunal Khemmu, took the stage for the designer, Kunal Ani Tanna. The actor flaunted a shiny black shirt, trouser and an unconventional jacket, keeping the year's Pantone colour in mind. The collection, 'Elementary' saw abundant checkered designs and brown, white, blue, and cream were the colours. The collection comprised of shorts, kurtas, jackets and shirts. The concept behind the collection was going to the basics and keeping everything simple for the perfect man.

Then the talented actor Amit Sadh was the showstopper, and he looked outstanding when he rocked a cream-coloured sherwani with sophisticated pastel pink embroidery. The collection was named by the label TISA that comprised of 100 per cent organic cotton. TISA featured some interesting textures and the hues seen where blush pink, shades of blue, white, black, and grey.

Then it was talented designer Mrunalini Rao displayed an elegant collection of lehengas and traditional attires. The collection featured hues like pink, grey, yellow and purple. The wears were inspired around the theme of 'Lotus' because most of the outfits had floral motifs on them. The super gorgeous actress Ileana D'cruz and Athiya Shetty took the stage for this designer.  

With the collection named 'Promises', designer Sunaina Khera's dedicated the collection to her best friend, who asked the designer to make a wedding attire for her. The collections saw pastel hues and pretty pink.

The models were seen wearing a grey and pink blingy shiny flecks saree, with a shimmery cape attached to one side of the blouse. 

The Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal was seen on the stage for the designer Kunal Rawal as he flaunted a cream an off-white coloured piece which was complete with neutral thread work. The Bollywood heartthrob paired it with jacket, waistcoat and similar coloured trousers. Rawal's collection comprised of blazers, shirts, jackets, and trousers. His outfit was neither too casual, nor too formal, but boasted a bit of both comfort and leisure.

The final day of Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2020 ended on an exciting, captivating, glamorous and dramatic note, with designer Amit Aggarwal displaying the extraordinary collection. The collection's outfits did not have a different colour palette. Remarkably, the materials used were made out of industrial waste, creating modern dressmaking while being ecologically cognizant. The sizzling Kareena Kapoor looked exceptionally attractive in a bright green gown, as she took the stage for Amit Aggarwal.
