For Virali and Malav, that story began with a family introduction to Panache Haute Couture, a clear vision for their wedding looks, and a wedding date that was only weeks away.
Their wedding took place on 1 June 2026 at Madison Function Centre, bringing together two very different design perspectives: Virali's desire for elegance, comfort and refined bridal luxury, and Malav's preference for understated, contemporary sophistication.
What followed was a highly personalised couture journey — from the first consultation and digital sketches through fabric selection, production, fitting and final delivery.
This is their story.
Two Visions, One Wedding
Virali
When Virali first approached Panache, she already had a strong sense of how she wanted to feel on her wedding day.
She wanted to look unmistakably bridal, but without feeling weighed down by her outfit. She was drawn to the grandeur and sophistication associated with contemporary Indian bridal couture, while placing equal importance on comfort and ease of movement.
Malav
Malav approached his wedding outfit differently.
He had a clear reference point from the beginning and was drawn to the understated elegance of Ranbir Kapoor's wedding styling. Rather than wanting an exact replica, he wanted to capture the feeling behind the look — clean tailoring, a refined palette and quiet luxury.
Two different briefs.
Two individual personalities.
One wedding wardrobe.
Our role was to understand both.
The Beginning of the Bespoke Journey
Virali was introduced to Panache Haute Couture through her sister-in-law, Krupa.
When she contacted us, there was an important consideration from the very beginning: the wedding was only six weeks away.
For a couture garment, this is an exceptionally short timeframe.
After reviewing the requirements and production schedule, we knew the bridal outfit would need to move through design, fabric selection, technical development and production in approximately 20 days.
Rather than compromising the design or craftsmanship, we approached the commission as a carefully managed couture project.
Every stage had to be deliberate.
Every decision had to count.
And every detail had to be monitored closely.
Virali's Bespoke Bridal Look
Elegance without excess.
Virali's bridal vision was never about adding more simply for the sake of grandeur.
She wanted richness, but she also wanted to feel comfortable.
She wanted intricate detail, but without unnecessary weight.
She wanted a bridal silhouette that felt luxurious while still allowing her to move naturally and enjoy her wedding.
These considerations shaped the design from the beginning.
Rather than reproducing an existing bridal look, we took inspiration from the aesthetic she admired and interpreted it through our own design language.
For the fabric, we selected luxurious Banarasi brocade, bringing together heritage textile richness, structure and bridal elegance while maintaining a practical balance for the wearer.
The result was designed specifically around Virali — not around a pre-existing garment or a standard silhouette.
From Inspiration to a Personal Design
The design process began with detailed digital sketches and fabric planning.
Silhouette, proportions, colour, embroidery placement and finishing details were considered together before the garment moved into production.
A timeless bridal look with couture detailing, a flattering silhouette and a sense of luxury that never overwhelmed the bride.
This is where bespoke design becomes fundamentally different from simply choosing a ready-made outfit.
Inspiration can be borrowed.
A feeling can be interpreted.
But the final garment should belong entirely to the person wearing it.
Virali's lehenga was developed with exactly that principle in mind.
When "Good Enough" Wasn't Enough
One of the most important moments in Virali's commission happened during production.
As the lehenga began to take shape, we reviewed the garment in its near-finished form.
Technically, the approved design had been followed.
But something wasn't quite right.
The sequins border appeared narrower than we had envisioned, and although it was correct according to the original design, it was not creating the level of visual impact we expected from a couture garment.
We had a choice.
We could accept the result because it technically met the approved design.
Or we could make it better.
We chose the latter.
The borders were completely reworked. Additional detailing and a refined border treatment were introduced to create greater depth, richness and proportion within the overall design.
Importantly, this was not a change requested by Virali.
It was a decision made internally.
Because at Panache, our responsibility does not end when a design is technically completed.
Our own quality standard has to be satisfied first.
The Trust Behind the Garment
What made this moment particularly meaningful was the trust Virali placed in the process.
She remained confident in our recommendations and understood that the additional work was being undertaken for one reason: to make sure her bridal outfit looked exceptional when she finally wore it.

Malav's Bespoke Groom Look
Understated. Refined. Personal.
While Virali's brief focused on bridal elegance and comfort, Malav knew from the beginning that he wanted something more understated.
His inspiration came from Ranbir Kapoor's wedding styling — particularly the clean tailoring, restrained palette and effortless sophistication.
But the objective was never to copy a celebrity outfit.
Instead, we looked at what he admired about the reference and translated those elements into something personal to him.

From Digital Sketch to Final Garment
Every bespoke commission has a journey.
Consultation
We began by understanding their wedding, personal preferences, inspirations, practical requirements and timeline.
Design Development
Their individual ideas were translated into customised design concepts and refined through discussion.
Fabric Selection
Fabrics were selected not only for appearance, but for structure, comfort, movement and the overall character of each garment.
Measurements & Technical Planning
Detailed measurements were translated into production specifications to ensure the garments were developed specifically around their proportions.
Couture Production
The garments moved into production with close attention to embroidery placement, construction, finishing and overall proportion.
Quality Review
The garments were reviewed throughout production — including the decision to rework Virali's borders when the original treatment did not meet our expected standard.
Fitting
The finished garments were tried and assessed before the wedding.
Final Preparation & Delivery
Once everything was approved, the outfits were prepared for their wedding day.
From the first sketch to the finished garment, every stage was connected.
The Fitting That Every Couture House Wants
When everything comes together.
A fitting is one of the most important moments in a bespoke commission.
A garment can look beautiful on paper.
It can be beautifully embroidered.
It can be constructed with precision.
But it ultimately has to work on the person wearing it.
No alterations.
No adjustments.
No last-minute corrections.
When Virali and Malav came for their fitting, both garments fit exactly as intended.
The measurements, pattern development and construction had aligned.
For a couture house, this is one of the most rewarding moments in the entire process.
Because the fitting is where the work behind the scenes finally becomes visible.
1 June 2026
Madison Function Centre
On 1 June 2026, Virali and Malav celebrated their wedding surrounded by family and friends at Madison Function Centre.
After the wedding, they shared photographs from their celebration and told us how many compliments they had received on their outfits.
For our team, those messages meant more than simply knowing that the garments looked beautiful.
They confirmed that the design decisions had worked exactly as intended.
Virali felt comfortable.
Malav felt like himself.
And together, their wedding looks reflected the personalities behind them.
