Sky Blue Color Silk Velvet Shawl
COUTURE HAND-EMBROIDERY

Where every thread has a hand behind it.

Bride wearing violet silk velvet lehenga with hand embroidery, Niya design, Sensual Shadows Collection by Panache Haute Couture
THE SILHOUETTE

A silhouette tailored to move — fitted through the bodice, fluid through the leg.

DESIGNED IN AUSTRALIA · HANDCRAFTED IN INDIA · MADE TO MEASURE · WORLDWIDE DELIVERY

The story behind the creation.

It's the kind of piece that photographs as beautifully at a Sydney reception as it does at a monsoon wedding in Mumbai. Niya was designed for the bride who wants presence without excess. The silhouette sits in deep, velvety violet — a colour chosen for the way it holds candlelight and camera flash equally well — and it's built entirely in silk velvet for a fall that feels substantial rather than stiff. Every panel of the blouse and skirt is hand-embroidered, with sequins and fine embellishment worked in by hand rather than machine, so the shimmer moves with the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. The matching shawl completes the look and adds warmth for evening functions, engagements, and destination weddings where the temperature drops after sunset.

Preserve the craftsmanship.

Couture should be cared for with the same attention with which it was created. After each wear, allow the garment to air naturally and ensure that no perspiration marks remain before storing it carefully in its moisture-resistant couture dust bag.

Perspiration and perfumes can cause discolouration and may affect delicate fabrics, embroidery and embellishments over time.

Dry clean only. Keep the garment away from direct sunlight, strong artificial light, heat and moisture, and avoid prolonged exposure when not being worn.

Store the garment in a cool, dry environment and handle embellished surfaces with care to preserve the embroidery, handwork and delicate detailing.

Why does couture require advance booking?

A couture lehenga involves more than simply selecting a size and dispatching a finished garment. Time is required for measurement preparation, fabric and embroidery work, construction, finishing and quality checks. Booking in advance allows the garment to be created properly rather than rushed.

Can I order if I am based outside Australia?

Yes. Clients worldwide can order through Panache Couture. International clients can also arrange a Private Couture Consultation remotely to discuss their requirements before ordering.

Can I make changes to the design?

Selected couture designs may allow certain refinements, depending on the garment. Any changes to embroidery, colour, fabrics, silhouette or other design elements should be discussed during your consultation before production is confirmed. Significant alterations may require a bespoke commission rather than a standard couture order.

Can I speak with you before placing my order?

Yes. Private Couture Consultations are available for clients who would like to discuss the lehenga, measurements, styling, colour, design details, wedding timeline or the couture process before proceeding.
